Publication of a New Scientific Research in Control and Fault Diagnosis Using Intelligent Techniques and Systems in Vertical Elevator Systems
As part of the scientific activities of College of Engineering at University of Mosul, and in line with its commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals—particularly Goal 4 “Quality Education” and Goal 9 “Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure”—a new research paper has been published in the field of Mechatronics Engineering.
The Research was authored by Dr. Omar Waleed Najm Maroof (Lecturer), Dr. Mohammed Azhar AbdulLatif Al-Obaidi (Assistant Professor), and Mr. Roshd A’udheed Al-Saigh (Assistant Lecturer) from Department of Mechatronics Engineering at our college, in collaboration with Ms. Ruaa Husam Al-Mallah (Lecturer) from the Technical College of Computer Engineering and Artificial Intelligence / Northern Technical University.
The research, entitled “Advanced Predictive Control Systems for Elevators Utilizing Intelligent Wavelet Techniques for Fault Signal Analysis”, in Journal of Robotics and Control (JRC), a reputable scientific journal in the engineering field, indexed in Scopus, ranked in the first quartile (Q1), with a CiteScore of 6.5.
