Participation of College of Engineering in the Elections of Iraqi Academics Syndicate – Nineveh Branch
As part of its active role in supporting the academic mission and strengthening the status of university lecturers in society, College of Engineering at University of Mosul, represented by its Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Mohammed Hamdoon, along with the Administrative and Academic Assistants Deans, Heads of the Scientific Departments, and a number of faculty members, participated in the elections of Iraqi Academics Syndicate – Nineveh Branch, held on Sunday, September 14, 2025.
This participation reaffirmed the College’s commitment to contributing to the selection of syndicate bodies that represent the voice of academics and reflect their aspirations for advancing university work, safeguarding faculty rights, and enhancing their standing in the scientific and professional community. It also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions).
