College of Engineering

The department of architectural engineering was founded on April, 1967 and the study was stopped In (1978-1979) the department was reopend, and the first course of architects was graduated in (1982-1983).The department awards (B.Sc) degree in architecture with in a period of five years. The number of graduates from the initial studies since its establishment until the end of the academic year (1917-1918) 970 students.The post graduate studies was opened in (1996 65 students graduated. The department has distinguished its scientific and academic activities by publishing research in international journals and has held conferences seminars and architectural design works in the engineering consulting bureau.LLENCE The department won the (TAMAYOUZ EXCLLENCE AWARD) as a best department within the graduation projects for the universities of Iraq in 1918.
