College of Engineering

Department of Mechanical Engineering has established an advisory board composed of a distinguished group of engineers from various governmental departments in Nineveh Governorate, in addition to faculty members from the department. The board aims to enhance and develop educational programs by meeting at least once every semester to review curriculum objectives, monitor graduate outcomes, and recommend initiatives for continuous improvement.

The board holds regular meetings to discuss proposed curriculum modifications and improve the programs in line with current and future labor market requirements in the mechanical field. The Department of Mechanical Engineering collaborates with the advisory board members on all matters concerning student interests, program development, and close monitoring of learning outcomes, in addition to setting technical goals for the curricula. The department also strives to strengthen cooperation with professional experts and relevant institutions by organizing seminars and workshops that focus on linking theoretical knowledge with practical application, aiming to better prepare graduates for the demands of the labor market.
