The Environmental Research Center at the University of Mosul, in cooperation with the University of Mosul Presidency / Sustainable Development Unit and Women’s Affairs Unit, held a scientific seminar entitled “The Phenomena of Harassment and Drugs and Their Impact on the Family and Society” on Monday, 21 September 2026, at Afkar Hall / Center for Dryland Agriculture and Conservation Research.

The seminar aimed to shed light on the health, psychological, and social impacts of harassment and drug abuse, examine their effects on families and society, and promote community awareness of prevention and ways to address these phenomena.
