The Director of the Environmental Research Center at the University of Mosul, Assistant Professor Dr. Mai Abdulhafez Abdulqader, along with the Assistant Director of the Center, participated in the Iraqi Sovereignty Day Celebration.

The ceremony was attended by the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, Prof. Dr. Lubna Khamis, and a ministerial delegation from Baghdad.

The celebration was held on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., at the Dr. Mahmoud Al-Jalili Hall at the University of Mosul.

The participation of the Environmental Research Center reflects its active presence in national and university events and contributes to strengthening institutional communication and cooperation between the University of Mosul and Iraqi governmental and ministerial institutions.
