The College of Fine Arts hosts a lecture on public safety and fire systems
On Tuesday, August 20, 2024, the College of Fine Arts hosted a lecture on public safety and advanced and primitive fire systems in the presence of the Dean’s assistants and college members. It was delivered by Mr. Sufyan Al-Barzanji, Head of the Civil Defense Department at the University of Mosul. The lecture dealt with defining aspects related to safety, prevention, and dealing with fires, defining the types of fire extinguishers and how to deal with them in the event of accidents, in addition to the importance of the presence of a safety officer and the tasks and duties he performs in evacuation and shelter operations in emergency situations.
