Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal al-Din al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak Saliwa, Dean of the College of Fine Arts, and in the presence of Professor Dr. Bashar Abdel-Ghani Muhammad, Scientific Assistant, and members of our college, the Studies and Planning Division held the scientific workshop entitled (Ways to combat abnormal phenomena outside of human nature and combat them with awareness and education) In cooperation with the Anti-Narcotics Directorate in Nineveh Governorate.

The first day revolved around a lecture by Colonel Firas Abdul Razzaq Saeed about the scourge of this negative phenomenon and ways to combat its penetration into Iraqi society. Then the assistant teacher, Zakaria Jalal Bashir, addressed a group of points related to these extreme phenomena, including electronic blackmail, excessive use of social media, and degrading content. Which is broadcast by some platforms and websites.
The first day of the practical workshop concluded with interventions from the ladies and gentlemen attending from the college’s members.
