Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal al-Din al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Nashaat Mubarak Saliwa, Dean of the College, and the follow-up of Dr. Hadeel Subhi Ismail, Head of the Art Education Department, the Art Education Department, in cooperation with the Employment and Qualification Unit in our college, held a course for teachers and graduates of the Art Education Department entitled (Art Education – A reading of the labor market requirements) on Sunday, October 22, 2023, in the presence of the Dean, his scientific assistant, professors of the Department of Art Education, and a number of graduates.
Professor Dr. Muhammad Ismail Al-Taie lectured in it, in his lecture entitled (Teacher of Art Education and Sustainable Development Requirements), and then the teacher, Dr. Nada Abdel Aziz Saleh, and her lecture entitled (Modern Teaching Methods).
The course was moderated by Assistant Lecturer Shaima Halim, head of the Employment and Qualification Unit at the college.
The course focused on the importance and function of art education in society and its relationship to the requirements of the labor market, which aims to develop the skills of art education graduates and teachers to enrich the labor market, in addition to the scientific comments and interventions that enriched the course.
