College of Fine Arts

The Department of Studies and Planning – Continuing Education Unit held a lecture within the program (Continuous Education for Teaching and Functional Staff) on (Beauty and the Philosophy of Art) delivered by Father Dr. Hani Pius Hanna from the Dominican Order, today, September 23, 2024, in the presence of the scientific and administrative assistants and members of our beautiful college.

The lecture dealt with a group of philosophical and aesthetic figures who looked at beauty and the concepts related to it, such as Socrates, Plato, Nietzsche, Kant and Hegel. The lecture concluded with a group of interventions by the ladies and gentlemen in attendance that enriched the lecture.
