College of Fine Arts

The Deanship of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Mosul held a joyful celebration on the occasion of the National Tree Day, March 12, in the presence of the Administrative Assistant, Assistant Professor Munqidh Muhammad Faisal, on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, with the active and wide participation of our college’s faculty, staff and students.
The activities and events of the celebration varied between:
1. Printing an awareness notebook on afforestation and distributing it to students in 300 copies containing pictures and educational quotes on the subject of afforestation.
2. Holding a scientific and applied workshop on the overlap of meaning and concept between the tree and the meanings of its presence in plastic drawing.
3. Producing a short film on the importance of afforestation in the general and university environment in particular.
4. ⁠Planting plants and trees in the gardens of the university campus and in the college.
5. ⁠Designing and printing awareness posters on the importance of afforestation to encourage students to practice afforestation inside and outside the university campus.
Awareness brochures were also distributed to the college students and the celebration concluded with a large campaign to plant trees and ornamental plants in the gardens of the College of Fine Arts.
