A lecturer from the College of Fine Arts participates in a scientific conference at the University of Baghdad.

As part of promoting academic openness and scientific communication with local and international universities, Professor Dr. Mayada Majeed Amin, a lecturer in the Department of Art Education at the College of Fine Arts at the University of Mosul, participated in the international scientific conference entitled “The Aesthetics of Sustainability and Environmental Awareness” held on April 16-17, 2025. The conference brought together a select group of researchers and academics from various Iraqi and Arab universities. Dr. Mayada’s participation came through her research entitled:
“Sustainable Development and Environmental Awareness of Artistic Creativity in School Theater: Sustainable Strategies to Confront the Challenges of Contemporary Society.”
The research addressed the vital role of educational institutions in building an informed generation capable of interacting with the rapid changes witnessed by society. The research also proposed a set of sustainable strategies to address current educational and scientific challenges, within methodological visions and innovative practical approaches that support the achievement of sustainable development goals.
Researcher Al-Bajlan praised the efforts of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak Saliwa, for his keenness, follow-up, and cooperation in supporting participation in scientific conferences.
