A master’s thesis at the College of Fine Arts on stereotyping in the performance of the Kurdish theatrical actor
A scientific committee from the College of Fine Arts – University of Mosul and the University of Basra discussed the master’s thesis entitled (Stereotype in the Performance of the Kurdish Theater Actor) on Tuesday morning, October 24, 2023, in the Graduate Studies Hall at the College of Fine Arts.
The study presented by the student Nirqaz Hussein Ahmed aimed to introduce the concept of stereotype and the extent of its impact on the performance of the Kurdish theatrical actor.
The thesis dealt with the social images of the gains and legacies that a person cannot do without and that remain in the human mind, and used them theatrically in a way related to the concept of stereotype.
The discussion committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Abdul Karim Aboud Odeh from the University of Basra / College of Fine Arts, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Musab Ibrahim Muhammad from the University of Mosul / College of Fine Arts and Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Muhammad Jandari from the University of Mosul / College of Fine Arts, and under the supervision and membership of Professor Assistant Dr. Munqith Muhammad Faisal from the University of Mosul / College of Fine Arts
