Under the supervision of Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak Saliwa, Dean of the College of Fine Arts, the Continuing Education Unit and the Women’s Affairs and Sustainable Development Units held a symposium entitled “Save to End Violence Against Women! There is No Excuse” on Monday, November 25, 2024, in cooperation with the Community Policing Division. Present at the symposium were Brigadier General Abdullah Hussein Muhammad, Colonel Hazem Najm Abdullah, and instructor Fardos Bahnam Yeshua from our beautiful college. The symposium was moderated by Assistant Professor Janan Abdul Razzaq Khader. The symposium focused on the role of security services in reducing violence against women and the role of awareness-raising art in curbing this negative phenomenon.
