Art and heritage are the topics of an educational lecture on Mosul arts.

Our Fine Arts College (Department of Studies and Planning) held an educational lecture entitled “Publications of the Mosul Studies Center and Their Convergence with the Specializations of the College of Fine Arts” on Thursday, January 30, 2025. Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Nizar Al-Dabbagh from the Mosul Studies Center presented at this scientific and cultural forum. His lecture touched on traditional folkloric artistic topics such as proverbs, wisdom, fashion, customs, traditions, and dialects, which constitute fertile material for the arts of singing, drawing, writing, and theatrical performance. At the end of the lecture, the visiting guest was honored with a letter of thanks and appreciation from the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak Saliwa.
