College of Fine Arts

The Department of Theater Arts was established with the College of Fine Arts, founded in the academic year 1994-1995 with only one branch (Acting), and later, the Directing branch was opened in subsequent years. The department aims to prepare leadership, educational, artistic, and cultural personnel that elevate the aesthetic taste of Iraqi society through the message of human theater art. Additionally, the department aims to organize regular annual festivals to develop and refine the talents of our students academically.
