Today, Sunday, November 17, 2024, the Department of Fine Arts held a discussion session entitled “The Diversity of Visual and Decorative Compositions of Handmade Carpets in the Museum of the Holy Abbasid Shrine,” presented by Assistant Professor Safaa Adnan. The session covered Islamic art in general and decorative arts in particular, and the achievements of Islamic heritage, which is described aesthetically as a comprehensive unit whose parts are interconnected and function as diverse internal systems with their human and plant elements. The session was enriched by contributions from the faculty members.
