College of Fine Arts

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and the supervision of Professor Dr. Hamid Ibrahim Al-Rashidi, Dean of the College of Fine Arts, the Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the College’s Sustainable Development Unit Liaison Officer, organized the scientific seminar titled (Drugs Threaten Health and Hinder the Future) in the Jalal Jamil Hall, attended by the Dean of the College and a number of affiliates and students, on Sunday, September 21, 2025.

Lecturing in the seminar were Assistant Professor Ma’idah Tariq, Lecturer Hala Mustafa, Lecturer Nour Khalif, Lecturer Mohammed Nizar, Assistant Lecturer Raghad Faisal, Assistant Lecturer Riyad Arif, with Assistant Professor Dr. Zaid Tariq managing the session. The seminar aimed to increase community awareness and limit this negative phenomenon through art as an awareness tool, in addition to the interventions and questions that enriched the seminar with scientific and practical suggestions and recommendations, which will be submitted to the relevant authorities.
