College of Fine Arts

In the presence of Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, a ministerial committee of professors from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the supervision of Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak Saliwa, Dean of the College of Fine Arts, various activities were held today, Wednesday, March 19, 2025, to mark National Tree Planting Day, organized by the Sustainable Development Team. Activities included a student symposium titled “Treatment: Protecting Tomorrow,” free-form drawing by Fine Arts Department students, an awareness-raising animation video titled “Plant Today, Protect Tomorrow,” and the distribution of awareness posters promoting environmental conservation within the college’s corridors. The side garden and fountain symbolizing the Kahramana statue were also inaugurated, as were tree planting by college members and training in landscape drawing. Media Department, College of Fine Arts
