Mosul University’s Faculty of Arts wins first place in the Creative Arts Competition
The College of Fine Arts at the University of Mosul won first place in the 31st Creative Arts Competition, under the theme “Creativity Against Corruption…Art Inspires Change.” The ceremony was held on Thursday, April 17, 2025, in the presence of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi.
The first-place award was received by Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak Saliwa, Dean of the College of Fine Arts.
The Creative Arts Competition is an annual tradition that the University of Mosul Presidency has been holding for thirty years, with students and faculty members competing in various fields of faith, science, art, and literature.
Congratulations to our college, faculty, faculty members, and students, and we wish them further academic and cognitive development in the service of the public good, and further creativity and excellence.
