College of Fine Arts

Our college participated in the intellectual symposium accompanying the fourteenth session of the theater festival, entitled (For a New and Renewed Arab Theater), now and here. Questioning paths, transitions, and echoes.

Our college’s participation came through Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak Saliwa, who was the rapporteur of the first day of all intellectual sessions, which was chaired by Dr. Muhammad Hussein Habib.
Assistant Professor Dr. Aqeel Majid also presented a critical paper in this session.
In the same context, the College of Fine Arts extends our warmest congratulations and blessings to the Iraqi artist, writer, and theater director, Bayat Muhammad Hussein Mar’i, on the occasion of honoring him in this festival as one of the important and effective theatrical figures in the Iraqi theatrical scene and in Nineveh in particular, through an artistic career that spanned more than four decades.
It is worth noting that the festival will be held in the capital, Baghdad, from January 8-10, 2024.
