The College of Fine Arts’ contribution to the Sustainable Development Festival
The College of Fine Arts at the University of Mosul actively participated in the third Sustainable Development Festival, which kicked off on Monday, April 21, 2025, at the University of Mosul. The festival was inaugurated by Professor Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, who emphasized the importance of this event in achieving sustainable development goals and promoting the concept of comprehensive development.
The college’s participation included activities and events that reflect the role of the arts in serving development issues and contribute to raising community awareness of the dimensions of environmental, cultural, and social sustainability. This participation is part of the college’s vision and mission to employ art as an effective tool in building and developing communities.
The festival is scheduled to continue until Thursday, April 24, 2025, with the participation of several colleges and relevant entities.
