The Palace of Culture and Arts in Nineveh hosts the Dean of the College of Fine Arts.
The Palace of Culture and Arts in Nineveh hosted Professor Hamid Ibrahim Al-Rashidi, Dean of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Mosul, to deliver a lecture entitled “Art and Innovation” on Monday, May 26, 2025. The lecture was attended by a number of intellectuals and interested individuals.
The lecture addressed the themes of creativity and innovation among artists, their influence on color and the environment surrounding them from birth, and cited international artists who have had a clear influence in this field. It also included contributions from the attendees, which enriched the cultural and artistic landscape.
At the conclusion of the lecture, Dr. Al-Rashidi was honored with the Shield of Creativity and Excellence, in recognition of his prominent role in advancing the artistic and cultural movement.
