College of Fine Arts

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and in the presence of Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, and his assistants for scientific and administrative affairs, and elite academic, artistic, cultural and media figures, the activities of the Second International Conference of Fine Arts Colleges in Iraq were launched today, Tuesday, April 16, 2024.

Chaired by Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak Saliwa, Dean of our college, and with the participation of more than 40 researchers from all Iraqi universities.

The first session was opened by reading 10 summaries of research by professors of the Fine Arts Colleges of the Universities of Babylon, Basra, Baghdad, Diyala and Al-Qadisiyah, followed by the opening of an exhibition of plastic arts in which a distinguished elite of members of the Fine Arts Colleges in Iraq participated, followed by the proceedings of the second session in a critical reading of five academic books written by specialized professors from the College of Fine Arts and critically reviewed by an elite of art and beauty professors. The first session of the second day is scheduled to begin tomorrow, Wednesday, April 17, 2024, in the discussion hall at our beautiful college.
