The University of Mosul is ranked first in Iraq in the University Theater Festival activities

The University of Mosul won first place in Iraq in the University Theater Festival, which is held by the Supervision and Evaluation Service at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and is located in Babil Governorate, with the participation of 27 Iraqi universities.
The College of Fine Arts, through the Department of Dramatic Arts, participated in presenting the play (The Song of the Dream), written by Antoine Chekhov and directed by student David Zucker Touma. The acting was by Manhal Muhammad and Tamara Nizar Muhammad, and the lighting was by Rahma Mahmoud Zuhair. The theatrical techniques were supervised by Ali Nazem Abd Sheet, a teacher at the college.
The delegation was headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Musab Ibrahim Muhammad
The work won the most important awards at the festival level, as it was his share
1. Best work award
2. Best Actor Award for student Hakam Manhal.
3. ⁠Best Actress Award for student Tamara Nizar.
