College of Fine Arts

In the presence of Professor Dr. Munir Salem Taha Al-Badrani, Assistant President of the University of Mosul for Academic Affairs, and professors from a ministerial committee affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, our beautiful college held various events on the phenomenon of “Drugs: The Scourge of Society” on Sunday, December 1, 2024.
The events, which fall within ministerial and university directives to curb this dangerous phenomenon, which has begun to sound the alarm bells in our Iraqi society, included a workshop on the phenomenon of drugs delivered by students from the College of Fine Arts, along with film screenings, a theatrical performance, and an awareness poster.
In a brief interview with the College of Fine Arts Media page, Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak, Dean of the College, said, “These events aim to raise awareness and educate people about drug prevention. They are an opportunity through which we look forward to empowering young people to build a bright future for our beloved Iraq.”
