Within the vision of the University of Mosul, headed by Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, on the need to mobilize efforts to continue scientific and cognitive progress at the University by optimizing the digital space to surmount the constraints caused by the current Coronavirus Pandemic, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary-General of the University Libraries, held a meeting with the officials of the Library’s divisions and non-division units via Hangouts Meet Application on Saturday, April 4, 2020. During the meeting, the progress of the work plans was discussed, as previously scheduled, emphasizing the implementation of the directives of the Ministry and the University Presidency by relying on the globally approved digital alternatives. Despite its perils, the pandemic should be considered as a surmountable challenge that will not hamper the achievement of the Library’s objectives in serving the users, regardless of circumstances, since it is one of the academic information sources in the University
