To pave the way for cooperation between the University of Mosul and international academic institutions, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary-General of the University Libraries, received Dr. Dorota Woroniecka, a researcher in the field of civilization and sociology, Institute of History and Civilization, Warsaw, Poland. Her visit to the University of Mosul was to conduct a documentary research on the Polish professors who worked at the University of Mosul in earlier time stages. Mr. Sayf expressed the Central Library’s great welcome and support for such researches that document the last time periods in the University life. Dr. Dorota expressed her admiration for the efforts to reconstruct the Central Library and appreciated the cooperation and support provided by the University of Mosul throughout her visit.
