The course was divided into two days. The first day addressed the meaning of criticism linguistically and technically, defining the concept of historical criticism and its stages of development, and highlighting the most prominent characteristics of a historical critic. The second day focused on the tools of historical criticism, presenting examples of historical texts related to Mosul’s history and conducting practical applications of these texts. This approach aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goals 4, 11, and 16.
