Mosul Studies Center Attends Scientific Workshop on Publishing Research in Global Repositories

Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Hazim Al-Ghadhanfari, Head of the Department of Historical and Social Studies at the Mosul Studies Center, attended the scientific workshop entitled: “Mechanisms for Publishing Scientific Research in Global Repositories and Ways to Obtain International Scholarships, Fellowships, and Grants for Researchers.” The workshop was presented by pharmacist Dr. Moataz Muwaffaq Salman Al-Jubouri, a University of Mosul alumnus. The workshop was held on Monday, August 4, 2025, at the University’s Grand Theater. The workshop was attended by Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul; Professor Dr. Abdul Rahim Ibrahim Jassim, Assistant President for Academic Affairs; Assistant Professor Dr. Rafel Hassan Hamid, Assistant President for Administrative Affairs; and several members of the University Council and a group of faculty members. The workshop focused on reviewing the scientific mechanisms adopted for preparing and publishing solid research in global repositories, as well as the steps followed for applying for international scholarships, fellowships, and grants.
