Under the patronage of the President of University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Petroleum and Mining Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Ma’an Hassan Al-Majed, the training course entitled “Installation and Operation of Turbine Flow Meters” was held from 15–19 February 2026.

The course aimed to introduce liquid and gas flow measurement devices, with a particular focus on turbine flow meters. It covered the operating principle, installation and operation procedures, key factors affecting accuracy and efficiency, as well as common operational problems and their solutions. Practical applications of turbine flow meters in industrial and oil fields were also highlighted.
