Summer Training for Students of the Department of Petroleum and Refining Engineering

Under the direct supervision and guidance of the Dean of the College of Petroleum and Mining Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Moan Hassan Al-Majid, students from the Department of Petroleum and Refining Engineering continue their summer training at the Kasak Refinery. This is part of the broader summer training program that includes students from various departments of the college.
This training comes as a result of fruitful cooperation between the college and oil institutions, aiming to enhance the students’ practical skills and provide them with real field experience that enables them to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real work environment.
During the training period, students had the opportunity to observe the different stages of the refining process and become familiar with the modern technologies and equipment used in refineries, under the supervision of specialized engineers who provided the necessary support and guidance.
This training represents an important step toward preparing students for the job market and is a practical embodiment of the college’s mission to connect academic education with professional application.
