College of Petroleum and Mining Engineering

Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Petroleum and Mining Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Ma’n Hassan Abdullah Al-Majid, and with the follow-up of the Head of the Mining Engineering Department, Dr. Ibrahim Adel Al-Hafez, students of the department carried out a voluntary campaign to prepare and beautify the department’s facilities in anticipation of welcoming first-year students for the new academic year.

The campaign included cleaning classrooms, laboratories, and corridors, organizing informational boards, and adding aesthetic touches throughout the department—reflecting the strong spirit of cooperation and belonging that characterizes Mining Engineering students.

This initiative supports the creation of a welcoming learning environment that leaves a positive impression on new students and strengthens teamwork and volunteerism within the college.
