Sponsored by the President of the University of Mosul,Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hamid Al-Suwaidi, the Individual Games Department, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, held a workshop on Monday 2/24/2025 entitled (Water Safety in Iraqi Swimming Pools) presented by the lecturer Montaser Mayouf. The workshop dealt with the concept of water safety, its requirements, conditions and dimensions… The workshop aimed to Identify the level of water safety in Iraqi swimming pools and what are the most important obstacles facing them. The workshop was attended by Prof. Dr. Nawfal Fadhel Rashid, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Ali Hussein Tabeel, Head of the Sports Sciences Department, and a number of lecturers.
