Sport sciences branch
One of sport education branch in the university of Mosul ,which interests in teaching theoretical subjects in four studying stages extent contributing to make the students know the different sciences that related with sport field and its aim is to improve educational process serving teaching process ,society ,and country. And the branch is specialized in teaching the following subjects .(biomechanic,sport psychology science,administry and organization ,sport training science, exercises physiology, sport medicine, teaching methods, motor learning ,not to mention some other subjects).The branch contains number of studying halls, hall for debates ,computer lab ,physical fitness lab .physiology lab ,and human achievement lab. Now Dr.rashed H. Thanoon is administering the branch.
