Awareness campaign on the importance of education and literacy in Al-Abbasiya village, Nineveh Governorate

The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences – University of Mosul organized an awareness and guidance campaign under the title “I Write”, with the aim of highlighting the importance of education and enrollment in the literacy program, on Thursday, February 27, 2025 in Al-Abbasiya village – Nineveh Governorate.
The campaign included distributing brochures and awareness cards on the importance of education and learning, in addition to providing stationery gifts to various segments of society, with a focus on supporting women in particular. The committee members also conducted a field tour of the village neighborhoods, to see the educational reality there, and communicate with the residents to spread awareness about the necessity of education and literacy.
The supervising committee expressed its thanks to the competent authorities and the village headman for their cooperation in making the campaign a success.
