Thesis in the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences on the sport of swimming

The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul discussed a doctoral thesis on Sunday, May 4, 2025, on the effect of using self-engineering based on the holotropic technique in reducing self-doubt among female students in swimming classes. The thesis was attended by Professor Dr. Nibras Younis Mohammed, Dean of the College, and a number of faculty members.
The thesis, submitted by student Reem Abdul Karim Shuwait, addressed the effect of using self-engineering based on the holotropic technique in reducing self-doubt among female students in swimming classes.
The study aims to develop a self-doubt scale for female students in the departments and College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, to identify the degree of self-doubt among female students in the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the College of Education for Girls in swimming classes, and to explore the effect of using self-engineering based on the holotropic technique in reducing self-doubt among female students in the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the College of Education for Girls in swimming classes. It also aims to explore the differences in the post-test between the experimental and control groups in self-doubt among female students in the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the College of Education for Girls in swimming classes. In addition to revealing the effect size on self-doubt in the pre- and post-tests of the experimental group, as well as in the post-test of the experimental group compared to the control group. The discussion committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Nadhim Shaker Al-Watar, and included Assistant Professor Dr. Marwan Abdul Latif Abdul Jabbar, Assistant Professor Dr. Mahmoud Matar Ali, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Khair Al-Din Saleh, and Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Khalid Muhammad Daoud, under the supervision and membership of Professor Dr. Mu’ayyad Abdul Razzaq Hassu.
