College of Physical Education & Sport Sciences

Under the direction of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision and follow-up of Professor Nibras Younis Mohammed, Dean of the College, the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences welcomed a group of university students as part of the “Study in Iraq” initiative for the 2024-2025 academic year, launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The students were welcomed by the Head of the Individual Sports Department, where they participated in various sports activities and used the sports halls, providing them with a rich and comprehensive experience of the university environment and the sports facilities offered by the college.
This initiative aims to attract international students through scholarships provided by the Iraqi government to those wishing to study at public and private universities within Iraq, enhancing opportunities for academic exchange and openness to global educational talent.
This event comes within the framework of the university’s support for initiatives that enhance international academic cooperation and open new horizons for students to gain experience and interact with Iraqi educational institutions.
