A PHD thesis in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences on the enlightened leadership behaviors of directors of sports and scouting departments in Iraq and their role in organizational harmony from the perspective of technical supervisors.

The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul discussed a doctoral thesis on the enlightened leadership behaviors of directors of sports and scouting departments in Iraq and their role in organizational harmony from the perspective of technical supervisors, on Monday, May 19, 2025. Professor Dr. Nibras Younis Mohammed Al Murad, Dean of the College, and a number of faculty members attended part of the thesis. The thesis submitted by student Alaa Abdul Sattar Abdul Razzaq addressed the enlightened leadership behaviors of directors of sports and scouting departments in Iraq and their role in organizational harmony from the perspective of technical supervisors.
The study aimed to develop a questionnaire on enlightened leadership behaviors of directors of sports and scouting departments in Iraq, and a questionnaire on organizational harmony in sports and scouting departments. It also aimed to determine the level of practice of enlightened leadership behaviors by directors of sports and scouting departments, determine the level of possession of the elements of organizational harmony in sports and scouting departments in Iraq, and determine the percentage of contribution of enlightened leadership behaviors of directors of sports and scouting departments to the organizational harmony of these departments.
The discussion committee was chaired by Professor Walid Khaled Al-Nama, and included Professor Othman Mahmoud Shahada, Professor Buthaina Hussein Ali, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Ramadan Najm, and Assistant Professor Dr. Afrah Abdul Khaliq Yahya, under the supervision and membership of Professor Dr. Riyad Ahmed Ismail.
