A PHD thesis in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences on the effect of the Murder and Driver strategies on learning and retaining some basic football skills and investing academic learning time in physical education lessons.

The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul discussed a doctoral dissertation in teaching methods on Monday, June 16, 2025, on the impact of the Murder and Driver strategies on learning and retaining some basic football skills and utilizing academic learning time in physical education classes. The discussion was attended by Professor Dr. Nibras Younis M0hammed Al-Murad, Dean of the College, and a number of faculty members.
The dissertation, presented by student Omar Taha Muhammad Al-Lahibi, addressed the importance of the Murder and Driver strategies in learning and retaining some basic football skills and utilizing academic learning time in physical education classes.
The study addressed finding the optimal strategy to teach learners skill performance and develop their level by creating scientifically applied educational methods and programs that help them acquire and retain basic football skills as quickly as possible and utilize academic learning time in physical education classes.
The study aims to explore the impact of using the Murder and Driver strategies on learning and retaining some basic football skills and utilizing academic learning time in physical education classes. The discussion committee was headed by Professor Dr. Safaa Thanoon Ismail, and the membership of Professor Dr. Ziad Salem Abdul, Assistant Professor Dr. Salwan Khaled Mahmoud, Assistant Professor Dr. Raed Ibrahim Fathi, and Assistant Professor Dr. Sabah Jassim Muhammad, under the supervision and membership of Professor Dr. Walid Wadallah Ali.
