A PHD thesis in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences on “Organizational normalization and its role in the job cynicism of the cadres of the Youth and Sports Directorates in Iraq.”

The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul hosted a doctoral thesis discussion on “Organizational Normalization and Its Role in Job Cynicism among the Staff of Youth and Sports Directorates in Iraq” on July 2, 2025. Part of the discussion was attended by Professor Dr. Nibras Younis Mohammed Al Murad, Dean of the College; Professor Dr. Omar Samir Dhanoon, Head of the Individual Games Department; Professor Dr. Mahmoud Hamdoon, Head of the Team Games Department; Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Muhammad, Head of the Sports Sciences Department; and a number of college instructors. The thesis, presented by doctoral student Muhammad Attia Ahmad Khalil, specializing in administration and organization, addressed organizational normalization, job cynicism, and the Youth and Sports Directorates in Iraq. It aimed to design a questionnaire on organizational normalization in the Youth and Sports Directorates in Iraq, develop a scale for job cynicism among the staff of the Youth and Sports Directorates, and identify the level of organizational normalization within the Youth and Sports Directorates. It also aimed to identify the level of job cynicism and the relationship and role of organizational normalization within the Youth and Sports Directorates in job cynicism among their staff. The discussion committee was headed by Professor Dr. Adi Ghanem Mohammed Al-Kawaz, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Hadeel Dahi Abdullah, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Dhaker Salem, Assistant Professor Dr. Honar Saber Mahmoud, and Assistant Professor Dr. Thabet Ihsan Hamid, under the supervision and membership of Assistant Professor Khaled Mahmood Aziz Al-Abbadi.
