A thesis in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences on…the effect of TRX and plyometric exercises on some biomotoris variables and basic skills of female volleyball players.

The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul hosted a doctoral dissertation discussion on the effect of TRX and plyometric exercises on some biomotoris variables and basic skills of female volleyball players on August 12, 2025. Professor Dr. Nibras Younis Mohammed Al-Murad, Dean of the College, and a number of faculty members attended the discussion. The thesis, submitted by student Jassim Mohammed Yahya, addressed the impact of TRX and PLY exercises on improving basic skills and biomotor variables in volleyball, given the importance of both methods in developing muscle strength and increasing motor performance. The thesis aims to provide comprehensive scientific answers that contribute to determining which of these two methods is more effective in improving the performance of female volleyball players. It also aims to identify the significance of significant differences between the pre- and post-tests in some biomotorised variables and basic skills of female volleyball players who used TRX exercises. The discussion committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Ayad Muhammad Abdullah, with the membership of Professor Dr. Mahmoud Hamdoon, Assistant Professor Nah Bahz Abdullah Fattah, Assistant Professor Haider Ghazi, and Assistant Professor Ammar Muhammad Khalil, under the supervision and membership of Ma’an Abdul Kareem Jassim.
