A thesis in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences on (Play therapy and its effect in reducing antisocial behavior and improving some social skills among special class students in Nineveh Education schools)

The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul hosted a doctoral dissertation discussion on Monday, August 18, 2025, on “Play Therapy and Its Effect on Reducing Antisocial Behavior and Improving Some Social Skills among Special Class Students in Nineveh Education Schools.” The dissertation, submitted by student Bashar Jassim Muhammad Al-Abadi, addressed the design of a program based on play therapy to reduce antisocial behavior and improve social competence.
The study aimed to measure antisocial behavior, social competence, and social skills among special class students in Nineveh Education Schools. It also aimed to design a program based on play therapy to reduce antisocial behavior and improve social competence and some social skills among special class students in Nineveh Education Schools. It also aimed to explore the effectiveness of the play therapy program and its impact on reducing antisocial behavior and improving social competence and some social skills among special class students in Nineveh Education Schools. It also aimed to identify differences between the dimensions of antisocial behavior, social competence, and social skills among the research sample. The discussion committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Nibras Younis Al Murad, with the membership of Professor Dr. Abdul Basit Al Sharman, Professor Dr. Nagham Mahmood Al Obaidi, Assistant Professor Dr. Mahmood Mutar Al Badrani, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ismail Abdul Jabbar Saleh, under the supervision and membership of Professor Dr. Nadhim Shaker Al Wattar.
