Master’s thesis on the educational design of basketball skills according to the cross fit system and its impact on developing some physical and motor qualities and skill achievement for fifth-grade middle school students

The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences discussed a master’s thesis on the educational design of basketball skills based on the CrossFit system and its impact on developing some physical and motor characteristics and skill achievement for fifth-grade middle school students on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Professor Dr. Nat Bashir Ibrahim, Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, and a number of college instructors attended part of the discussion. The thesis submitted by researcher Amir Abdul Wahab Al-Khutabi addressed the educational design of basketball skills based on the CrossFit system and its impact on developing some physical and motor qualities and skill achievement for fifth-grade middle school students.
The study addressed the importance of educational design based on the CrossFit system in developing physical and motor qualities and skill aspects.
The study aims to reorganize physical education lessons according to the educational design and using the CrossFit system, and to investigate the impact of the CrossFit educational design on some physical abilities among fifth-grade middle school students. It also explores the impact of the CrossFit educational design on some motor qualities of fifth-grade middle school students, and also explores the impact of the CrossFit educational design on the technical performance of basketball skills among fifth-grade middle school students.
The discussion committee was chaired by Professor Waleed Waad Allah Ali, with Assistant Professor Dr. Sabah Jassim Mohammed and Assistant Professor Liqa’a Abdul Muttalib Khalil as members, under the supervision and membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Suhail Najm.
