College of Physical Education & Sport Sciences

The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul witnessed the discussion of a master’s thesis in sports training/table tennis on August 31, 2025.
The thesis, submitted by student Younis Talal Sharif, addressed the design of special skill exercises using a ball launcher device in conjunction with a light stimulator. The study addressed modern technology that can be used in sports training and to develop players’ performance through it. It aimed to identify significant differences between the pre- and post-tests in physical and skill variables of the experimental group.
It also aimed to identify significant differences between the pre- and post-tests in physical and skill variables of the control group.
The discussion committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Othman Adnan Abdul Samad, and included Assistant Professor Dr. Ziad Tariq Zidane and Assistant Professor Nagham Mu’ayad Muhammad, under the supervision and membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Ammar Muhammad Khalil.
