To engage in continuous planning and monitoring to enhance the quality of education and research, advance university administration, and promote sustainable development at the University of Mosul.

Mission

The mission of the Department is to provide support and guidance for the University’s strategic planning in order to achieve the University of Mosul’s key objectives. This is accomplished through the development of advanced plans and strategies; the collection and analysis of data, information, and knowledge to support informed decision-making; the advancement of information technologies and technological innovation in education and research; and the promotion of environmental and social sustainability across the University campus.

Objectives

1. Develop plans and strategies that reflect the vision of the University and seek to achieve excellence in education and research.
2. Collect and analyze data, information, and knowledge and provide reports and analytical insights that contribute to informed decision-making at various levels of the University.
3. Support and continuously update the Ministry’s databases related to the University in the fields of education, research, and human resources.
4. Promote environmental and social sustainability across the University campus through the planning and implementation of sustainable projects and initiatives.
