The Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance Evaluation is one of the departments affiliated with the Office of the University President, reflecting its significant role within the university. The department seeks to establish an effective system and strategic frameworks for quality assurance, as well as to promote a culture of quality and academic accreditation within the University of Mosul community.

The department also works to strengthen the culture of self-assessment and continuous improvement, aiming to enhance academic and educational performance across the university’s colleges and research centers. Through these efforts, it contributes to the ongoing development and advancement of teaching and academic standards.

Furthermore, the department provides institutional support to the university through its internal divisions, in addition to the Quality Assurance units operating within the colleges and centers. These units function in an integrated manner aligned with the vision, mission, and objectives of the University of Mosul.
