Administrative Assistant Visits Regional Studies Center at the University of Mosul

Dr. Tareq Muhammad Tayyib al-Qassar, Director of the Regional Studies Center at the University of Mosul, welcomed Assist. Prof. Dr. Rafal Hassan Hamid, Assistant to the University President for Administrative Affairs, during her official visit to the center On Thursday, April 16, 2026. The visit was part of efforts to strengthen institutional communication and gain insight into the center’s administrative and academic operations. The visit aimed to identify the Center’s most pressing needs, thereby contributing to the development of the work environment and the improvement of institutional performance, as well as to review the work organization mechanisms and procedures adopted in the management of scientific and research activities.

The visit aimed to assess the center’s key needs in order to enhance the work environment and improve institutional performance. It also provided an opportunity to review organizational mechanisms and the procedures adopted in managing scientific and research activities.

During the visit, the Director of the Center delivered a brief presentation outlining the nature of the Center’s work, its key achievements, and future programs. The presentation also highlighted the challenges facing operations, particularly those related to administrative and logistical aspects.

For her part, Assist. Prof. Dr. Rafal Hassan Hamed emphasized the University Presidency’s commitment to supporting research centers and providing the necessary resources to strengthen their role in serving the community and advancing scientific research. She also commended the efforts of the center’s administration and staff in achieving its academic objectives.

This visit comes as part of a series of field visits aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency and advancing academic institutions at the University of Mosul.
