The First Meeting of the Second Semester for Researchers of the Remote Sensing Center

The Director of the Remote Sensing Center, Assistant Professor Dr. Abdulrahman Ramzi Quba, chaired two separate meetings for the Center’s departments—the Digital Processing Department and the Natural Resources and Engineering Sciences Department—with the attendance of department heads and researchers from both departments, on Tuesday, 3/2/2026.
During the meetings, the planned and completed research activities for the 2025–2026 academic year were reviewed, and mechanisms for developing joint scientific research were discussed. Emphasis was placed on completing ongoing studies and striving to publish research outputs in reputable scientific journals, as well as enhancing the Center’s presence in international indexing databases. The meetings also addressed the organization of a specialized seminar during this semester and encouraging researchers to complete the planned training courses and workshops for the current year.
Assistant Professor Dr. Abdulrahman Ramzi Quba stressed the importance of unifying scientific efforts and exchanging expertise among departments, in a manner that contributes to producing high-quality, publishable research and achieving the University’s objectives of increasing scientific publication output.
