Remote Sensing Center Participates in a Scientific Seminar on Legislative Frameworks Supporting Women’s Participation in the Labor Market

 

The Remote Sensing Center at the University of Mosul participated in the seminar organized by the Women’s Affairs Unit at the Scientific and Literary Forum of the University of Mosul on 14 June 2026, titled “The Impact of Legislative Frameworks on Women’s Participation in the Labor Market: Lessons from International and Regional Experiences.”

The Center’s participation was represented by the attendance of Professor Dr. Fawzia Mahmoud Al-Ramo, Head of the Women’s Affairs Committee at the Center, along with members of women’s affairs committees, where the importance of legislative frameworks in enhancing women’s participation in the labor market was discussed.

The seminar included a scientific paper entitled “Soft Skills in Academic Life,” presented by Dr. Nida Al-Abadi. The participation of the Center comes in support of scientific activities aimed at empowering women academically and professionally, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
